I was one of the unknown, unseen person's praying for Thomas and his mom. My heart is heavy for Marie, but I suspect she has survived the entire 4 years on nothing more than Love. Thomas was blessed by that and it was surely the fuel to keep her going. Nearly a decade ago I lost the man I was then engaged to because of a brain tumor. This much I learned...once experienced, Love Never Dies! So in some way Thomas will always live in Marie's heart, which means he's never far away.
